  • New international students must complete at least 69 credits of major courses as prescribed by their curriculum.
  • Newly admitted international students must complete at least 7 credits of core liberal arts subjects (Core I: 4 credits, Core II: 3 credits) as laid out in the curriculum. The total credits required for graduation, including liberal arts and major subjects, are at least 120 credits. • For transfer international students with different majors, the graduation requirements for 2nd and 3rd-year students are the same as those for transfer students with the same or similar majors, and 4th-year transfer students can graduate by completing 45 credits, including 36 credits in major courses, while taking 17 to 18 credits per semester.

  • For transfer international students in the bilingual program, the same rules as Article 3 and 4 of this chapter apply. However, up to 6 credits of major courses can be replaced by courses in the 'Micro Major in Korean Language Program for Foreigners' curriculum.
  • In the case of transfer admissions including bilingual programs, the criteria for similar and dissimilar majors by academic year are determined by taking into account the characteristics of the major through a department meeting and a separate working committee (including two professors, the department chair, the head of academic support, and the head of the International Education Institute), with the final approval by the Academic Affairs Director.
  • Regardless of whether they are new or transfer students, credits from labor education and community service are not required for graduation.
  • When taking major-related courses offered by other departments, students can be recognized for these as major courses by submitting an application for similar major recognition.
  • International students are required to attend chapel every regular semester except for their graduation semester. Chapel attendance must be completed for up to 7 semesters (transfer students entering in the 2nd year must complete 5 semesters, 3rd-year transfer students 3 semesters, 4th-year transfer students 1 semester, and 4th-year bilingual transfer students are exempt). Each semester, attendance is scored as a P grade, and the course title is recorded as 'Chapel'.

Transfer

  • Transfer (hereinafter referred to as “transfer”) can be applied for in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years. However, it can only be applied for after at least one year of enrollment, and it can only be applied for once during the enrollment period. However, transfer is not allowed for bilingual program transfer students and 4th-year transfer students.
  • The requirements for transfer are that the credits earned until the semester in which the transfer is applied for must average at least 26 credits per year, and the average grade point must be 1.0 or above.
